Imi Ike

Na Lei Mae`ole programs are designed to provide educational and support services to current and former foster youth and their families. An emphasis is placed on one-to-one and/or small group tutoring utilizing culturally congruent methods of engagement, teaching, support, and foster family involvement.

Current Na Lei Mae`ole programs include:

The `Imi `Ike Tutorial Center
Located in Mo`ili`ili and Waipi`o, O`ahu, The `Imi `Ike Tutorial Center is uniquely situated and designed to meet the comprehensive educational needs of Hawaii’s foster youth population.

The Aloha Kaulana Scholarship Program
This program provides opportunities for foster youth to receive tutoring free of charge from EPIC Education tutors at one of its two tutorial sites. Scholarships are awarded based upon availability of funds.

Enrichment Workshops
Currently robotics, Hawaiian language and culture, and engineering are offered as enrichment programs.
